Being outside is better, the orchestra of the woods, the calm evening crickets. This is the oxygen to my creative lungs. I’m urged to breath in the dark mundane and exhale explosive color.
My work represents the power, strength and truth found in subjects. Everything I create has been source by a memory or a guided by a belief in awareness and respect of the world around us.
When I paint my animals I let their personality come out as I’m working. It all may start with a plan but perhaps at times gets highjacked and plays out in a completely different direction. I’ve learned to listen to the message a painting is sending.
Above all with whomever I create, I seek to impart a sense of joy, vitality, and dynamism on your walls. A celebration of the creatures that inhabit this planet with us. A tribute of the most important thing, our consciousness and what speaks to our hearts.
bb Wyatt is an Artist who currently resides in beautiful British Columbia. In 2003, she graduated with a certificate from The Centre of the Arts and Technology in 2D/3D Animation. That may seem like centuries ago to you, but don’t worry, this hyperbolic old dog is on top of all the new tricks. b enjoys killing houseplants and has a deep love for making all sorts of wrong decisions. She currently has an attention span of 30 seconds and drinks far too much coffee. b is available for commission projects.
